Aloha, I’m Alex.
Business owner.
Software builder.

I run a local food business and build software and marketing support for other business owners. My work brings together an MIT background in business analytics and a lifetime around restaurants.

Where it started

The business
came first.

I grew up in my parents’ restaurant in upstate New York, helping my dad in the kitchen and my mom in the front of the house. Today, I run Love & Pita on Oʻahu.

Studying analytics gave me another way to solve the problems I saw around me. I started Axia Kitchen to build the support I needed for my own business and wish my parents had for theirs.

That’s the thread through my work: understand the business, build something useful, and keep improving it with the people who use it.

What I’m building

Different businesses.
The same practical approach.

Work grounded in operating a business, understanding the data, and staying involved after launch.
